Does your gym have a sauna or steam room? If so, you might be able to see if he responds to you making little adjustments to yourself while you're in there. If he does the same, it might lead somewhere. Or when you're showering, don't face the wall while washing yourself down there. "Casually" do it when facing him and see if he does the same. He might, and if you both find yourselves washing your privates a little longer than necessary, it could proceed from there.
