Its not just the many rules of "society" (whoever THEY are AND whoever put them in charge) but the two faced nature of it. How many so-called guardians of public morality have been caught in embarrassing positions over the years? WAY too many for me to care what they think. Even the straight-laced Victorians were at it like rabbits behind the curtains in the front parlour.

Sexuality in others is uncomfortable because we don't see it. Now, as a sociology student I spent a lot of time in Africa with various, well, tribes. Here are a few interesting facts. They wear little if any clothing. The girls are all buck naked. From puberty onwards everything they have is on open display. Want to know what the "underage" pregnancy rate is? Well, its ZERO. Boys masturbate openly when they are horny. So do the girls in some societies. Sex is as natural to them as the open sky above them. The reason we can't wait to have sex is precisely because of all the taboos our so called modern society puts on it. Who says a girl cannot give informed consent before the magical age of 16? I knew exactly what I wanted when I was 12. I was desperate for sex and I knew how NOT to get pregnant. All the sneaking around and guilty secrets spoiled it. (I had sex for the first time when I was 13 and four days.) In the villages I studied, sexual initiation is for many of them purely something that happens one day. I saw a lovely thing. A boy, I guess he was about 14 was erect and clearly ready to masturbate. Unusually, instead of wandering off somewhere on his own he sat outside his hut and just started stroking but very slowly. (usually they do it quite fast) as various women past him he said something. All the women except one said something and passed by. One woman, who was about 18 said something back to him and approached him. She knelt in front of him and kissed his knees before just mounting him. After a few moments, when he had clearly cum she got off him and kissed his knees again. It was his initiation into full sex. It was totally beautiful. I even joined the rituals myself. As public masturbation seemed to be the thing I did myself outside the hut I shared with a family one lovely evening. Most of the village were there but it was no big deal. Some had never seen a white woman before and they looked. Afterwards, the Elder of the village told me through an interpreter that he felt honoured that I had accepted their customs so fully.

So lets look at the facts. Boys and girls are growing up early. That means they feel horny early too. What they need to to explore their sexuality in a guilt free, responsible environment with no guilt attached. I am pregnant with a girl. When she grows up I will ensure she can masturbate freely and when she is ready I will support her whenever she is ready for sex, be it straight, lesbian, whatever. I don't care if she has sex with a boy her age or a much older man. In fact, my first time was with a much older guy and it could not have been better.

Get rid of all the self imposed guilt and accept sex as being as natural as the air that we breathe.
