Submission Rules
Content Rules for Contributions
Submissions that do not follow these rules will be flagged for further review, might be edited, might be posted on Whispering Lily instead of on Solo Touch and might not be posted at all.
All stories published on Solo Touch must:
- have a main focus of masturbation. "Masturbation" means touching one's own or someone else's genitals with the hands. Stories may discuss kissing and other forms of touching, but not any other sexual activity.
- be noted as fiction if it is not true. This can simply be the first line of your story. i.e. Fiction. Then start the story on the next line.
- not discuss sexual activity involving anyone with an age difference greater than 4 years when one of the participants is underage.
- not discuss sexual activity involving a person who is 18 years old or older, and someone who is under 18.
- not discuss any sexual activity before age 13 with any of the participants. Vague references to yourself as being younger are fine as long as other references to a time when you were less than 13 are not included. i.e. saying “I was 11 when I learned to masturbate” and saying “I was in 4th grade when I learned to masturbate” are the same. Both will get your story rejected. Saying “I learned to masturbate when I was younger” is acceptable. No one in your story can be under the age of 13.
- not contain any personal contact information in the published sections.
- not discuss sexual acts among/with any of the following:
- animals
- people who are asleep
- people who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- not discuss non-consensual activites.
- not discuss the use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
- not discuss any dangerous activities.
- be proofread for proper grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation. It doesn't have to be perfect, but you must make an effort. Doing things that show you're not willing to make an effort, like using abbreviations (e.g. "ur", "pics") or leaving out apostrophes (e.g. "im", "dont"), are guaranteed to get your story rejected.
Formatting Guidelines
In addition, please follow these formatting guidelines to make it easier to format your story for publishing
on the Web:
- Do not press <enter> at the end of each line. Only press <enter> where you want a line break
to appear in the story. If you type your story into the box on the submission
form, the text will automatically wrap to the next line when you reach the
end of the line even though you did not press the <enter> key.
- Use 2 line breaks (press <enter> twice) to separate paragraphs or sections of your story.
You may have noticed that it is difficult to read stories with no breaks.
- Do not use tabs or multiple spaces
to indent paragraphs. Instead use two line breaks and do not indent.
- PLEASE DO NOT USE ALL CAPS. THIS SHOULD BE USED ONLY FOR EMPHASIS (I.E., YELLING). Stories that are submitted in all caps will not be published. Since it is very difficult
to convert a story from ALL CAPS to normal capitalization, these submissions will be discarded.
